A list has been compiled by the major preservation groups in South Africa which details locomotives that are urgently
in need of refurbishment with a view to bringing them back into full operating condition so that they can work trains
throughout the length and breadth of South Africa. If you are able to assist us with a donation, large or small, please
note the following particulars:
A special account has been established to receive donations. These funds will be controlled by the South African
auditing firm L Reynecke and Associates. Full disclosure will take place in our monthly newsletters as to what funds
have been allocated to refurbish specific locomotives.
If you have a preference for the restoration of any in the attached please detail your thoughts below. Please note
however that it may not be practical to undertake the restoration of your particular loco choice at this time but in due
course it will receive our full attention.

We are very mindful of the number of railway projects around the world that are calling for funds. South Africa has
never received funds from anywhere in the world for the restoration of locomotives and we thank you for considering
our project as being worthwhile.
